Hyperburgers is an ‘inconvenience’ store: an experimental commons that researches ways out of the supermarket in togetherness, and the complexity that unfolds from there. One product at the time, the project faces the impossible problem of consumption with an open-ended and rather subversive approach.
MILK
On the occasion of its mini residency at TAC, Hyperburgers presents MILK: a case study in a room, where the project attempts to explain itself by looking back and re-collecting its pieces. The special hexagonal space of TAC called ‘De Schelp’ (the shell) will be divided into 6 stations: research, production, distribution, consumption, checkout, reflection. A circuit un-like the shopping one, an attempt at an odd social milk factory, an exercise in doing and undoing. All visitors are invited to bring:
- a white clean tshirt
- at least one empty glass bottle with its closing top
- A couple of jars or a tupperware
- If you happen to keep those large greek yogurt baskets and wanna bring them, you’ll be covered in gold.
