Six years ago, PSV celebrated a championship that sparked a visionary idea. As we celebrate another championship in 2024, this vision has materialised with the announcement of TAC Living. This project marries affordable housing with TAC’s cultural breeding ground, all under one roof.
Six years ago, when PSV also clinched the title,Temporary Art Centre (TAC) and Focus on Impact embarked on an innovative collaboration named Focus on TAC. TAC Living is a testament to the successful partnership between a cultural institution and a real estate developer, creatively addressing various area development challenges in the city’s heart. Coinciding with PSV’s 2024 championship, we are excited to announce that construction of the TAC Living building will soon commence, situated directly opposite the PSV stadium.
At the site where TAC Living will rise, a temporary construction sign now features art that captures the essence of PSV’s championship, the renovation of TAC, and the commencement of TAC Living’s construction. Focus on TAC commissioned Jasper van Es to curate this artwork, enlisting three renowned Eindhoven street artists to create pieces in PSV colours. You can see work from Beholder, Guy Verbeek, and Lempke. The artwork will be displayed until construction begins.
TAC Living is set to be more than just a building; it will be a creative hub where affordable living meets artistic inspiration. The upcoming TAC garden will further enhance this vision, showcasing more street art and featuring guest curators such as Jasper van Es and Wladimir Manshanden.
