ABOUT DRAW SLOW
Sebastiaan van Draw Slow is a lettering artist. His interest in calligraphy branched out into many different directions, leading him to explore lettering (drawing text), type design, graphic design, and more recently, watercolour, portraiture, and landscapes. A rich mix of interests that flows seamlessly from digital layers to analogue paper. Currently, it is this interplay between digital and analogue that captivates him the most. Often, the core of his work is intertwined with a poetic touch, allowing him to share his perspective on the world. His inspiration stems from the words of Dutch hip-hop legends like Sticks (Opgezwolle), as well as from beatniks such as Charles Bukowski and expressionists like Matisse and Van Gogh.

He also envisions a future as a Creative Coach—a catalyst for designers in need. The art of interpretation, of distilling what is essential or intriguing, comes naturally to Sebastiaan. He is currently looking to support a number of designers in their creative process. For more information, the door to his studio is always open!
